Voter registration a key for November success

Your Vote MattersThousands of members not registered; politics matters more than ever

Making our voices heard at the ballot box is more important than ever for our families' financial security as we continue being used as political pawns through furloughs and minimum wage threats.

Regardless, thousands of Local 1000 members remain unregistered as we work to elect a governor and legislators who value state services and protect us from political attacks.
Voter registration is quick and easy

You can pick up a voter registration form from your Local 1000 job steward, or at your county elections office, library or U.S. Post Office. It is important that your voter registration form be filled out completely and be received by your county elections office by Oct. 18.

You can also register by clicking on the "Register to Vote" button on the side of this page, or at the Secretary of State's Office.

Simply go screen to screen and fill in the information requested on the form. Then print it, sign it and mail it directly to the county elections office address that is pre-printed on the form.

Your county elections office must receive your voter registration form no later than Monday, Oct. 18.
