Between January and March of 2008, many groups reviewed and gave input on the proposed representational structure for Unit 1, including Local 1000’s Council, the Unit 1 stewards and elected bargaining representatives and over 1200 Unit 1 employees who attended worksite meetings or provided input online or by mail.
