Make your voice heard – 25 bargaining town halls announced
On Jan. 13, Local 1000 will launch a comprehensive effort to learn the contract priorities of our members before our member-elected bargaining team begins negotiations with the state this spring.
“This is an opportunity to shape your future,” said Margarita Maldonado, Local 1000 vice president for bargaining. “We’re listening to as many members as possible to learn what’s important to them.”
25 town hall meetings are scheduled up and down the state. There you can talk with our statewide officers and bargaining team members, learn more about the bargaining process, past negotiations and budget issues, and offer your own ideas of what our priorities should be at the bargaining table.
“We’re listening to as many members as possible to learn what’s important to them.”
