SEIU California Women Panel

Community Event

A panel of SEIU California women will speak on their journey to becoming some of the “first women” in their respective niches in the Labor movement. Their stories exhibit the history and power of women in the Labor movement. The panel will be followed by a short Meet and Greet. 

Panelists include Local 1000 statewide officers Yvonne R. Walker, Margarita Maldonado and Tamekia N. Robinson, Linda Dent from Local 721, Faith Culbreath from Local 2015, and Tonia McMillan from Local 99.  Also attending will be Deborah Russell, retiree from USWW’s Executive Board and daughter of SEIU great, Gloria Marigny.
