SEIU State Worker Convening #2

Event

In March 2022, state workers across the country gathered for the first time to strategize on how to strengthen our unions. The discussion was led by many of the workers who stepped up during the pandemic to keep our country running, putting their own lives on the line in the process to ensure our states, cities, and towns continued to receive critical services like mental and public health when they were needed most. Despite the ongoing threats of privatization and chronic understaffing, we continue to fight for a good life for our families and our communities. And the surest path to victory is a strong SEIU.

That’s why I’m encouraging you to RSVP for our State Worker Convening #2 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST on Sunday, June 26th, where we’ll continue strategizing on how to build strength in these changing times. You’ll also hear from a panel of member leaders and participate in a national discussion on engaging coworkers in a hybrid fashion, from membership sign up to collective actions.

By joining together, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or SEIU Local affiliation, we can continue to raise the stakes, build power as working people, and grow our movement. Join us by RSVPing today! I look forward to seeing you there.
