DESCRIPTION:Stay Informed and Get Involved – Join Our Monthly Leadership Call! \nJoin us on Thursday\, January 9th\, and every 2nd Thursday of each month for our Local 1000 Leadership Call—a vital opportunity to hear directly from your union leaders about the issues that matter most to you and your fellow members. \nWho We Are: Local 1000 represents 96\,000 dedicated state workers across California\, fighting for fair wages\, safe working conditions\, and the rights of our members. Our monthly leadership calls are your chance to engage with those at the forefront of our union’s efforts. \nWhy Attend? Stay informed about upcoming initiatives\, ask questions\, and play an active role in shaping our union’s future. Our leaders want to hear your voice and keep you updated on what’s ahead in 2025. \nPresident Anica Walls\, Vice President/Secretary-Treasurer David Jimenez\, and Board Chair Delonne Johnson will be there—online via Zoom—along with other members of the Board of Directors\, ready to engage with you and answer your questions. \nImportant Details: \n\nWhen: Every 2nd Thursday of each month\, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.\nWhere: Online via Zoom\nWho: For Local 1000 members only\nRegistration: Pre-registration is required\, and space is limited.
