This has been a long and trying year for everyone in State service. The fight for a contract we can all be proud of has been long, hard and very frustrating. Did we get all that we wanted? No. However, we did make significant progress in our struggle to gain adequate recognition, compensation and respect for our members.

After months of negotiations, 25 town hall meetings, and countless worksite actions to hold the state accountable to its bargaining obligations, we successfully reached a TA with the state.
The highlights are many, including:
Ratification Vote By Mail
Members who wish to vote by mail must request a ballot by September 20, 2019. To request a ballot, call the Member Resource Center at 866.471.SEIU (7348).
Mail ballots MUST be received by September 28, 2019 to be counted. And don’t forget that you also have the option to vote in person through September 28, 2019. To find your voter ratification site, click here.
