May Day Resistance March
Each May 1st—International Worker’s Day—labor and community groups celebrate tour achievements and stand together in solidarity for social, economic and environmental justice. On May 1, participate in Resistance Marches and stand against the dangerous policies that threaten our families and our communities.
SACRAMENTO:
Join workers and activists for a march at 10:00 a.m. at Southside
Park, ending with a rally on the West Steps of the Capitol.
Join the Fight for Environmental Justice on Earth Day
We’re stepping up the fight for environmental justice in a series of actions centered around Earth Day, working to raise awareness of environmental and climate issues and the unprecedented threats to the health of our planet.
“There are no jobs on a dead planet,” said Claudia Gambaro, chairperson of our Environmental Committee. “Dramatic changes are taking place with a new administration in Washington. We stand to lose much of what we gained in the past decades unless we stand up against the loss of federal environmental science and regulation.”
