2020 Census
Local 1000 is working to build power in 2020 by ensuring that we have a fair and accurate 2020 Census so that all communities have access to good jobs, resources and a strong voice.
This is an opportunity for us to shape our future and exert our voices. Not only is the census linked to the amount of federal money that California receives, as well as where and how that money is spent, but a census undercount would deprive millions of working family’s proper representation in Congress to get those resources.
