CDCR to close two facilities in 2024, 2025
Local 1000 learned today of the two CDCR Institutions that are planned for closure as announced in this year’s state budget.
California City Correctional Facility will be scheduled to close in March 2024 and Chuckawalla Valley State Prison will be scheduled to close in March 2025.

2022 Operation Christmas Basket
This year, the Sacramento Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, along with the United Way and contributions from the IBEW Local 340/NECA holiday raffle is having their Annual Christmas Basket Food and Gifts pick-up on
Thursday, December 22, 2022.
If you know of a Union member who is in need this Holiday Season, we would like to provide items for a holiday family meal and age-appropriate toys for children.
