Member Dues
How your dues dollar works for you
SEIU Local 1000 monthly dues support everything our union does. From the negotiation and enforcement of our contract to political and legislative work, legal action, research, and communications—-your dues are spent solely on union efforts and actions.
Member dues are 1.5% of gross salary and are capped at $90/month. If you have questions about your dues please contact our Member Resource Center (MRC) at 866.471.7348

13.0.01 Representation Rights and Limitations
(a) Local 1000 will provide representation, within the limitations set forth in this Policy File, to state/represented employees based upon their status as follows:
Local 1000 Member Resource Center
The Local 1000 Member Resource Center connects you with a well-trained, knowledgeable union representative who can answer questions and, when necessary, refer you to professional staff for representation or other issues. Representatives are well versed in state worker needs – ranging from filing a grievance, to finding the address of a meeting, to learning about discounted theme park admissions and other member benefits.
