State of Emergency

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR STATE EMPLOYEES

On March 1, 2023, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared 13 California counties in a state of emergency because of weather.  On March 8, he place an additional 21 more counties on that list.  The complete list of counties is at the end of this notice.

DLC 768 President Josh Guile has had to take an extended leave because of the serious medical condition of a family member.  Because of the time needed to care for this loved one, Josh’s leave balances will shortly be exhausted. Any donations are appreciated.

Bill has been suffering from the long-term effects of COVID since the fall of 2022. He has exhausted his leave balances and is still unable to return to work. Help from his union brothers and sisters would be appreciated.
