Local 1000 Stands Against Domestic Violence
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The physical and emotional scars of domestic violence can cast a long shadow. Too many individuals face the pain and fear of domestic violence, victims who often suffer in silence and without support.

The Local 1000 Women’s Committee stands with those who have endured the often-tragic consequences of domestic violence and works to help prevent future incidents.

It is in this spirit that Local 1000 recognizes Domestic Violence Awareness Month with its efforts to educate and provide solutions to victims.
