PLG 110: Effective Lobby Visits

As state employees, it’s important to communicate our message effectively to our legislators. One way to do that is to go to their Capitol and district offices for a ‘lobby visit.’ This course will teach you the nuts and bolts of lobby visits, from setting up a meeting to messaging. It will also examine how a bill becomes a law, and the dos and don’ts of lobby visits from the steward’s perspective.

Requirements: Students are required to pass a post test.
