2021 Vice President for Bargaining Expanded Key Dates

July 2, 2021 – Balloting Period Opens. Ballots mailed to members.
July 12, 2021 – First day to request a replacement ballot by calling the MRC (1-866-471-7348).

July 16 2021 – Last day to request a replacement ballot by calling the MRC (1-866- 471-7348). Requests must be made through the MRC by 5:00pm.

August 2, 2021 – Balloting Period Ends. 5:00 p.m. deadline for receipt of ballots. Ballots must be received inside of the sealed pre-addressed, postage paid return envelope that is provided. Ballots must be returned to 1100 Melody Lane, Roseville, CA 95678. Ballot opening and sorting begins at 1:00p. Observers welcome.

August 3, 2021 – Ballot opening and sorting continues beginning at 9:00am. 1100 Melody Lane, Roseville, CA 95678. Observers welcome.

August 4, 2021 – Ballot counting begins — 9:00 a.m., 1100 Melody Lane, Roseville, CA 95678. Observers welcome.

August 6, 2021 – Official results posted to seiu1000.org/leadership-elections by 5:00 p.m. Elected candidate will be notified.

August 6, 2021 – Protest period begins.

August 13, 2021 – Protest Period completed. All protests must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., and addressed to: Attn: President, SEIU Local 1000, 1808 14th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.

August 20, 2021 -Protest Committee findings completed. Parties notified.
