Black Lives Matter Discussion
This Friday

President Walker started a discussion last Friday to create space for our members to connect, learn, and support the movement for Black Lives, from COVID-19’s disproportionate impact on Black families to the senseless killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and now Rayshard Brooks. This week we would like to once again come together as a union and continue the conversation in celebration of Juneteenth, which you can read more about here and here.  

We invite you to join President Walker and your fellow SEIU Local 1000 members tomorrow, Friday, June 19 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
