Changing Nature of Work Survey
During the last collective bargaining cycle between the state and Local 1000, a joint task force was created in conjunction with the Future of Work Commission to focus on how changes in technology and evolving expectations surrounding how public services are delivered in the state are impacting the nature of work for California’s civil service. Additional dramatic changes in the shape and substance in which work is done by state workers have arisen over the last month.
