Local 1000 Leadership Elections Begin April 19

Mark your calendar. Local 1000 Leadership Election ballots should be appearing in your mailbox on or before April 19. And with their arrival comes your opportunity to shape the future of your union. However, please keep in mind that only members are allowed to vote. 

Every state workplace is part of a Local 1000 District Labor Council (DLC), and every DLC has elected officers (president, vice-president/chief steward, treasurer, and secretary) who build union power at the worksite and across the state. Your Local 1000 Leadership Election ballot parcel will include a voter guide, a ballot, and a return envelope. Please be sure to fill out and return your ballot right away, as all ballots must be received by May 20.
