LUNAFEST Women’s Film Festival Goes Virtual Friday, October 16

Post

LUNAFEST—the annual film festival that provides a platform for women to share their untold stories—returns for the third year to Local 1000 Friday, October 16. 2020 marks the 20th annual edition of the festival and will feature seven short films made by, for, and about women. The event is hosted by our own Women’s Empowerment Committee.

This year’s screening is virtual, so you can enjoy the films from the comfort of your own couch.  Three of the featured filmmakers will join us for a Q & A discussion at the conclusion.

While the event is for members and their families, some of the films deal with adult subject matter or themes that may not be suitable for persons under 13.
