May is Military Appreciation Month
Veterans Committee Appreciation Day – May 21, in Covina

May is National Military Appreciation Month, an opportunity to show our appreciation for the service and sacrifice of our troops, past and present. It’s a special month: in May, we celebrate Armed Forces Day, Military Spouse Appreciation Day, and of course, Memorial Day.

At SEIU Local 1000, we celebrate and honor service personnel past and present.

The Local 1000 Veterans Committee is committed to being a strong advocate for our union’s military veterans and their families. Their aim is to support veterans of all areas, branches and components.  The Veterans Committee focus is to have a platform to address veteran’s issues and concerns within our union and our communities.

All SEIU Local 1000 Member Veterans and their families are invited to lunch to show our appreciation for your service.

“Battle Coins” will be awarded to dues-paying member Veterans in attendance.

dTwo (2) – $100.00 gift cards will be raffled to dues-paying member Veterans in attendance.
