As the COVID-19 pandemic drags on and fires burn across the state, it is clear, more now than ever, that the working people of California need lawmakers who will stand up for us and our values, and join us in the fight for racial, social, and economic justice. Members of Local 1000 and SEIU members statewide and across the nation have come together to endorse local, statewide, and national candidates who deserve our vote.

Some of these candidates include Abigail Medina, running to flip CA State Senate District 23, T.J. Cox, who previously flipped California’s 21st Congressional District, and Anthony Rendon, the current Speaker of the Assembly.

Additionally, SEIU 1000 is proud to support a number of propositions as we fight for strong protections for all working Californians, including Prop 15: Schools and Communities First; Prop 21: Rent Control.
