State Issues Pay Letter
State issues pay letter today – raises, retroactive pay forthcoming

Post

Today, CalHR issued the long-awaited pay letter that instructs the State Controller’s Office (SCO) to issue retroactive pay and the pay raises we won in our new contract.

“We will begin to see checks covering retroactive pay in December, and our new salaries will be reflected in the January paycheck,” said Irene Green, Vice President for Bargaining. “I’ve been in close contact with CalHR and the SCO to monitor their progress”.

No specific December date has been given for the issuance of the retro pay; January paychecks will issue according to usual practices.

The pay letter covers the general salary increase we negotiated, along with the special salary adjustments, and the wage equity adjustments. You can read a copy of pay letter 23-44 here.
