- HR 1 cuts to Medicaid could take away healthcare from 2 million Californians, and, with the expiration of ACA subsidies, another 660,000 Californians may lose healthcare.
- Nearly 5 million Californians enrolled in CalFresh could have their benefits reduced.
- Yet corporations are projected to receive $900 billion over the next decade from Trump’s tax cuts.

California workers and consumers built the 4th largest economy in the world. But while Californians struggle with rent, healthcare, and soaring costs, the world’s biggest corporations are getting a free ride that’s about to get even bigger – thanks to Trump’s corporate tax cuts – paid for by cuts to health care, food assistance and schools.
They shift their profits to Wall Street stockholders and hide it in offshore tax havens. They effectively dump their employees’ healthcare costs onto taxpayers. They rig the rules to pay virtually nothing – while our schools and safety nets crumble.
