The SBAC meetings held on July 19 and 20 were a resounding success, bringing together our dedicated DBURs for two days of education, collaboration, and exciting updates.
One of the key highlights was an in-depth training on the Side Letter Agreement, ensuring that all DBURs are well-equipped with the knowledge they need to support and represent our members effectively. These sessions sparked great discussions and helped clarify important aspects of the agreement.
We also introduced an exciting new tool: Union Connect. This innovative program is designed to help our Stewards better engage with members in their areas. With Union Connect, communication becomes more streamlined, localized, and impactful—making it easier than ever to stay connected and informed. It’s definitely a game-changer for member outreach!
In addition, many of our DBURs received their new contracts during the meetings.
