Bargaining Unit 11, representing workers across a wide range of state departments including Caltrans, the Department of Fish and Game, the Department of Water Resources and the Department of Food and Agriculture, officially started bargaining with the State on April 27 as part of our fight for what we deserve in our 2026 Contract. This first meeting focused on introductions and setting the stage for the important work ahead, but your Unit 11 Bargaining Team is already working hard to protect the rights, working conditions and future of Unit 11 members statewide.
Yesterday, Unit 11 returned to the bargaining table to continue building momentum and move negotiations forward.
