Our Board of Directors met in special session October 6 and voted
to support the recommendations of our Committee on Political
Education (COPE) to support a slate of candidates in the upcoming
November election.
We supported eleven candidates in “local” races throughout the
state—school board trustee, supervisor, mayor, and the like—and
from our Political Action Committee funds, disbursed nearly
$140,000 in support after the Board voted 38-5 to approve.
