Historic IT Reclass Approved by SPB

More than 8,000 Information Technology work-ers represented by Local 1000 were impacted by a sweeping reclassification of decades-old job specifications into a modern system that rec-ognizes the modern skill sets of state IT workers and provides a path for upward mobility. Our IT Reclass Team, backed by members in the work-place, achieved success after a two-year battle.
