SEIU Local 1000 Asian-Pacific Islander Committee Responds to President Biden’s Executive Actions

On January 26, 2021, President Biden signed four executive actions, one of which specifically addresses housing, justice reforms, and actions to combat xenophobia against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. We applaud these efforts, but we also realize this is just the beginning of our hard work to recovery. It is up to us to come together for what is right, and it is also up to us to hold our elected officials accountable in lifting up all working families, regardless of race, class, gender, or religion.
