Each week, our represented employees are invited to talk with SEIU Local 1000 leadership to ask questions and to learn about important issues and opportunities at the Union. Interested in contract negotiations? Opportunities in our apprentice program? Telework? Essential Worker Premium Pay? Join us on Wednesday nights!

“Straight Talk” is hosted by Board Chair Bill Hall, who is joined each week by everyone from our statewide vice presidents and Local 1000 staff to prominent California government personnel. This coming Wednesday, June 1, Tia Orr, Director of Government Affairs at SEIU California, will speak on “The Power and Importance of Politics to SEIU and Local 1000.”
