SEIU Local 1000 Board of Directors Meeting Recap from April 18/New Meeting Scheduled

On Monday, April 18, our SEIU Local 1000 Board of Directors held a virtual meeting to continue their work in governing our union. The Board is comprised of 65 member-elected representatives—51 District Labor Council Presidents, 10 Bargaining Unit Chairs, and 4 Statewide Officers.

The Board discussed and then voted on new members of the Agenda Committee, as well as new members for the Committee on Political Education (COPE). Additional discussion and debate was held regarding the actions of the COPE in endorsing and disbursing COPE funds, but no new policy changes were put into effect.
