“Recruitment &Retention (R&R) 5.17.1 Process — we are finalizing the 2024 R&R report and have opened applications on the 2025 report. This report is invaluable for building our power at the bargaining table an engaging our members.

We are focused on building membership — our Unit 1 leaders are constantly committed to growing our member power by expanding our Union membership. We spent time together as an Statewide Bargaining Advisory Committee meeting on Feb 9th practicing organizing conversations to keep building our membership numbers.  Membership is POWER are the table and in our worksites.”

Who We are

Unit 1 includes accounting officers, auditors, analysts for all departments, employment program representatives at the Employment Development Department (EDD), disability evaluators at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS), and information technology analysts and other professional classifications.
