Our Unit 11 bargaining team held a regular statewide Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC) meeting on March 12th, 2025, to address issues impacting represented workers in Unit 11.
In discussions with the state, our team raised specific concerns from our represented employees around the following topics:
1. The timely payment of wages, differentials, overtime, and retroactive payments including specific emphasis on the CDL differential
2. Department of Food and Agriculture conversion of Limited Term employees to Seasonal Employees
3. An update to the Lab Assistant Classification Series
Many of the issues discussed are ongoing and require follow-up discussions between our Unit 11 team and the state to achieve resolution.
