Our Bargaining Unit (BU) 11 team held a regular statewide Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC) meeting on July 25, 2024, to address issues impacting represented workers in Unit 11.

In discussions with the State, our team raised specific concerns from our represented employees around the following issue topics:

1. The timely payment of wages, differentials, overtime, and retroactive payments

2. Working conditions at the new Irongate fish hatchery

3. The proper use of standby assignments under article 19.21.11 (Standby Duty)

4. Uniform reimbursement

5. An update on the Classification Review of Lab Assistant Series

Many of the issues discussed are ongoing and require follow-up discussions between our Unit 11 team and the State to achieve resolution.
